How to run ABS on Chainrisk Cloud?

This page dives into running Agent-based Simulations on Chainrisk Cloud

Create Simulation Flow

Creating Agent-based Simulations on Chainrisk Cloud involves the following steps -

  1. Enter the basic metadata - 'Name' & 'Description' of the simulation

  2. Set the simulation duration ( in blocks ). Let's say you want to simulate across 1000 blocks. Set '1000'

  3. Set the starting block or, the block height at which you want to fork the blockchain.

  4. There is a checker for transaction tracer. This will come handy mainly for economic exploit simulations.

  5. Then, comes the simulation Configuration. Here, from the dropdown of Agents, Scenarios, Observers, Assertions and Contracts you select the corresponding list of scripts required for the simulation.

  6. Next, go ahead and press on the 'Create Simulation' button and then, press on the 'Run' button.

Voila! That's how easy it is to run ABS on Chainrisk Cloud. But, how to develop the logic of the ABS scripts? Read more about it here.
